Getaway, Relax & Unwind at Finger Lake Wilderness Resort where you will find lakeside log cabins & RV Campsites at affordable rates, excellent trout fishing and exclusive access to Finger Lake. Finger Lake Wilderness Resort is a small, family oriented resort where service is our specialty.
Finger Lake is 9 Km long, 17 meters deep, with over 33 kms of shoreline. There are many sheltered bays and 4 islands to explore, have a picnic, fish or just cruise our scenic lake for wildlife viewing and nature photography. For the more adventurous, there are 3 waterfalls in the area and many hiking trails.
Finger Lake rewards the angler with wild rainbow trout to 5 pounds as well as kokanee salmon. The high catch frequency, no size limit, no bait or gear restrictions make this a great family fishing destination where “Kids Catch Fish!” Six-year-old Brianne holds the current record off the main dock, a 3-pound trout. There are two docks, both a short walk from your cabin or campsite.
Expect great fishing from mid May right to the end of October. Pick up a depth map at the on-site store, which sells groceries, licenses, lures, flies and bait. Trolling small spinners with or without a willow leaf is very productive. Using a sink tip or full sink with dragon fly nymphs, doc spratleys or popular leach patterns are just as rewarding. Canoes and aluminum boats with motors are available for rent.

We will direct you to the surrounding lakes in the area: Arthur, Tatuk, Lavoie, Hay, Secord, Glutien, Dutien, Knewstubb, Hobson, Chief Grey (Bitch), Citcuta (Rum Cache), Lucas, Chutanli, Kuyakuz and the head waters of the Nechako Rivers at Cheslatta falls.
