Burnt Well Guest Ranch is a family owned and operated working cattle and sheep ranch in southeastern New Mexico (15,000 acres at an altitude of 4200 feet), In 2003 we diversified to receive guests year around. Kim was born and raised on this ranch and our ranching operation is our livelihood. The guest aspect is a supplement to our ranching income. We intend to keep our guest capacity small so that we can adjust our schedule to accommodate the varying needs and wishes of our guests, and also to accomplish the many ranching chores that are ever present, since we do not have a staff. We have a small guest capacity (only two rooms for up to two families at the most at a time, plus a separate newly constructed one family ‘casita’) enabling us to be flexible in the ranch stays we can offer.

Policies

In order to avoid fraud, only make prepayments (reservations or deposits) using a credit card (or any other card that does not require a PIN number for online purchases) or PayPal. Never make an advanced payment using cash, checks, money orders or bank transfers. Learn why.

30% deposit is non-refundable, but may be used for a future stay within a year if cancellation is received within 30 days of arrival date. No shows will be charged 100% of the booked stay.
