Our home is just a short distance away through the garden & we enjoy sharing it with our visitors. We returned to the family-owned farm after meeting at university, planned to stay a year, but never left! I love gardening, creating warm homely spaces & cooking. Evan is a keen amateur bagpiper, ex-scientist and farmer.

Kamahi Cottage is just 30 minutes from the world famous Waitomo Glowworm caves, Black water Rafting, eco-caving tours & cave abseiling (rappelling) adventures
It's set in a beautiful country garden with stunning panoramic views. The cottage is totally self-contained, rated 5 stars and is an ideal romantic retreat in a lovely farm location. Full gourmet breakfasts are included in the rates, delivered to the cottage or served in the nearby homestead whenever it suits you...the choice is yours.
The cottage has an upstairs queen bedroom, downstairs lounge & dining area with TV/DVD & sound system, mini bar, fully-equipped kitchenette and spacious bathroom. A sofa-sleeper converts to a queen bed for 2 extra guests and children are very welcome. Complimentary touches include home baking, freshly ground coffee & tea assortments, port, home-distilled plum schnapps & luxury toiletries.
